Natural Resource Management
Restoring degraded watersheds, soil health, and local biodiversity.
Overview
Natural resource degradation directly impacts smallholder farmers and indigenous communities. SUPPORT implements landscape-level Natural Resource Management (NRM) using participatory GIS mapping and traditional conservation wisdom. Our watershed interventions recharge groundwater tables, reduce topsoil erosion, and rejuvenate dying natural springs (dhÄras). By involving local Water User Associations, we ensure long-term community stewardship of land and water resources.
